And so…

We have a choice each day as to what we want to achieve, be, do, have, not have, not do, not be, not achieve. Whatever way you slice it, you are the common denominator.

You can blame circumstance, your dog, Trump, the weeds in your lawn or your ex but unless you are able to honestly look at your self in the mirror and examine and study the events that have led you to where you are now…blaming is useless.

What has worked for me in the past is to take those parts of myself that I don’t really love or that have stopped me in life, and use them as my teacher. So by accepting what is so, even the behaviours that make me cringe, I can learn from them.

Two polarities exist in parallel with one another…always. They give us contrast. By acknowledging both and accepting both, only then are we able to make clear decisions. Decisions that will move us forward.

Life is what you make it. And so stop blaming, start reflecting and accept the polarities.
