I’m not an untidy person to begin with but I definitely have a corner or two where I put miscellaneous things. Growing up, my sister indirectly taught me the important lesson of letting go of things…by throwing out my stuff without me knowing.
So I started reading The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up (written by Marie Kondo) last night (Saturday night what up!) and in the first 3 pages Kondo already affirmed what I’ve been taught – that tidying up will not only transform your physical space but also your mental space. It will transform your life.
In our western world filled with possessions it’s good to practice the art of letting go – to clear our physical and mental space and vice versa.
BRB – off to read!
