As shitty as this might be to admit sometimes – I do believe it’s true. This actually reminds me of the book that I’m going to pick up next (will share that later!) We can absolutely change our perspective of a situation, which will then change how we feel about it. And it’s not easy. I think this is when meditation can come in really helpful – it allows you to quiet your mind and gently attune. In meditation you can quiet your mind to the point that you become an observer of your thoughts. This is also when you realize how ‘irrational’ our thoughts are. They don’t actually mean anything and can be changed on command.
